This #orchidmonday we answer the number 1 #orchid question we always get... No, you did not kill your orchid! Orchid blooms are transient and the leaves and roots are permanent. After your orchid has dropped it’s blooms it is not dead. An orchid expends a lot of energy creating the beautiful and prized flower spike so after it is done blooming it enters a period of dormancy where it replenishes it’s energy and prepares itself for another blooming cycle. Continue to properly water and care for your #phalaenopsis and it will bloom again in 9-12 months! See, you aren’t a bad #plantparent after all! . . . . . #plantparenthood #orchidtips #flora #blooms #phal #greenthumb #themoreyouknow???? #green #byghings #shoplocal #shopsmall #igdc #capitolcreated
